Foord EU betrayal

Today, the Liberal Democrats are expected to call for the UK to rejoin the Single Market and Customs Union, a move that would mean accepting free movement once again.

Honiton and Sidmouth voted to Leave the European Union in 2016. Ten years on, local people deserve to know whether our Lib Dem MP, Richard Foord, supports this latest push to reverse Brexit.

The Liberal Democrats have never accepted the result of the referendum. Now they are openly arguing for closer integration with the EU and a return to many of the arrangements that voters chose to leave behind.

We believe Brexit should be respected, not quietly unravelled.
