The Honiton & Sidmouth Conservative Association is the local branch of the Conservative Party. Its objective is to secure the return of Conservative candidates within the Constituency at general and local elections.
The Association comprises only fully paid-up Party members. Those members are grouped into local Branches, which are located in the towns and villages across the constituency with participation in the activities of the Association being on a voluntary basis.
In addition, to raising funds from members directly, the Association is funded through voluntary contributions from both individuals and businesses to help support its political activities. The Association and Branches also host social events, both for fundraising and meeting fellow members.
We are an active campaigning association with activities taking place every week- whether that be canvassing, calling, leaflet delivery, envelope stuffing, letter writing and meeting people.
The governing body of the Association is the Executive Council (which comprises the Management Team, representatives from each Branch and ward in the constituency, together with representatives from the local Conservative groups on East Devon & Mid Devon councils, and other Conservative interest groups).
